Logistics, technological innovation, artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain. Around these words is the challenge of tomorrow’s logistics, a gigantic system that only in Italy involves 89 thousand companies for a total turnover of 86 billion euros (data 2019). How will the logistics and supply chain sector change in the coming years? And how much of this change will be governed and supported by information systems, new enabling technologies and platforms?
It will be discussed on 13 May, at 10.15, in a free online webinar organized by Logisticamente.it, web portal of information on the world of logistics and supply chain management.
On the agenda: Gianluca Boselli, Full Stack Project Manager of Len Solution at Cavriago, a software house in Reggio Emilia that develops customized products for logistics, and Stefano Pedrona, consultant at Thinking Pack, a company specialising in the development of software solutions for the management of logistics and planning processes.
“The heart of the problem is to make human intelligence and artificial intelligence coexist – explains Gianluca Boselli – that is to design computer systems that can be combined at best with people’s activities, that can guide, predict, suggest. To design intelligent technologies that can relieve people from repetitive tasks, create new services and give companies more agile tools to grow their business”.
